Bostwana
Itineraries: Mobile Safari, Fly-in Safari
dear visitor
botswana is often called the jewel of africa. a landlocked stable democracy with the strongest currency in africa. and a wildlife that is probably second to none. fortunately the botswana government has adopted a tourism policy that is based on the principle of low quantity but high quality. this has ensured an untouched wilderness in an exclusive environment. botswana is made for the discerning individual traveller – mass tourism has been successfully avoided.
do to the large wilderness areas with little to no infrastructure botswana has never been a good destination for the self drive tourist. there are two ways of experiencing botswana. one is by combining various lodges with each other, making use of small aircraft for the transfers in between. the other is the mobile safari, whereby an experienced tour guide takes you out into the bush setting up camp where ever you go. it is of course also possible to combine the two.
botswana has always been very close to my heart. yes, it has a price tag attached to it – but it offers a game experience that is truly exceptional and most importantly experienced in an exclusive untouched environment.
