namibia is my country of birth and I can’t think of another place I would rather live. I have lived in south africa and europe germany for a couple of years, travelled a good deal and came back to namibia in 2001 extremely contend. everything works in namibia, we have a super infrastructure, no significant crime, no particular disease to worry about, no pollution, no traffic jams – yet we have nature at our doorstep. I can’t think of any country where there is an abundance of wildlife almost everywhere i.e. not just in the national parks. the other day i saw three cheetahs crossing the road just 30km outside of windhoek. now that is special.

namibia is all about lack of people, endless square kilometres of space and thus plenty of habitat for wildlife. nowhere can one today experience the third-world-africa true wilderness we imagine from sepia pictures (of some africa pioneer) in safety and still have plenty first-world luxuries. it is a unique combination.

the distances in namibia are huge and thus the country lends itself to fly-in safaris. this is particularly true for the time pressed traveller. we own 4 planes and have a serious passion for flying. namibia is one of the few countries in africa that due to the great infrastructure and political stability will always cater for the self drive tourist. but then there is nothing better to experience a new destination with a qualified guide, be it by road or by air. most of our clients actually end up doing a combination of road and air. whichever way you wish to travel our spectacular country – I hope that we can be of assistance.
